Speaker details: Melanie Weir

Melanie has worked with Langley Group for over 8 years, and in this time contributed to the application of positive psychology in many forms to work and wellbeing. The Langley Group facilitator and key consultant with Work on Wellbeing, a robust and complex wellbeing measurement tool, Mel will share a case study for wellbeing measurement to inform strategy.

Organisations are responsible for measuring safety and wellbeing and caring for people at work. Many HR and wellbeing specialists may agree with this statement, yet it can be challenging to understand how to deliver effective strategy in the complex, sensitive and individualised space of wellbeing at work.

We explore a case study of what effect flexible, responsive wellbeing diagnostics can do when endorsed by the people and the executive. Hear how a large programme of work can develop over time, give ready access to leaders on what is important or changing in the team environment, plus provide evidence for wellbeing interventions or investment.

In this insightful session we will:

·       examine an end-to-end case study of large wellbeing strategy implementation

·       explore diagnostic, understanding, culture and interventions

·       understand how people and teams are empowered to make a difference to group

      resilience

·       share the celebrations and challenges
